This is one great little filly.  She is built very well and has a pretty head on her.  We have not handled her much, but we are planning on weaning her next month and will put a little bit of training into her at that time.  She is the full sister to HoneyB, which has turned out to be a FANTASTIC horse.  She wins everytime we take her to a show or playday.  In fact, Morgan, our 4 year old, won Grand Champion on her at the last playday that we attended.  If Pumpkin is anything like her sister, she should be easy to train and very social with people.

This wonderful filly is a true gift to our farm.  Her Dam Miss Quick Copy is Windy's all time favorite horse.  She was bred many times over the last 11 years without success.  When Lanesmighty Prince arrived here at the farm, he bred all of the resident American Quarter Horse mares and initially Miss Quick Copy did not take.  But, you guessed it, one day we took her to a fertility specialist and we were informed that she was bred.  Windy was shocked and very happy.  Hence, "Samantha" will not be available for sale as she has already been chosen to be Morgan and Gabby's next playday horse.  She is sweet and loves people and children.  She should  be a wonderful horse for playday and breeding.  This filly will be bred in 2012.

 

This wonderful guy was a great surprise.  We purchased his mother Some Dancer out of Some Dasher from a breeder because she would not take.  She is a large attractive mare that is gentle and ready to please.  She was started on barrels and is doing great!  Halfway through her first season she started to slow a little and when I took her to the vet because I suspected she was bred, viola, she was pregnant.  Again, thanks to the never endless efforts of Lanesmighty Prince, who has been dubbed "Harry Potter" because of his magical wand.  This colt was easy to train and eagar to learn any new thing we taught him.  His color was FABULOUS!  He is now at his new home in Monterrey, Mexico.
